Pin and Stretch
Pin and Stretch is a massage technique that targets muscle tension, adhesions, and restricted movement by combining two key actions:
- pinning (holding) the muscle in a fixed position and then
- stretching the muscle as it is held.
This method is especially effective for addressing areas of chronic muscle tightness, trigger points, and fascial restrictions.

- Improved Flexibility: The technique enhances range of motion by stretching the muscle fibers and fascia, which can help prevent future injury and improve overall flexibility.

- Relieves Trigger Points: Trigger points (also known as muscle knots) are areas of hyper-irritability in muscle tissue. Pin and Stretch can help “deactivate” these points and reduce the pain associated with them.
